About the Foundation

Limited Editions Ceramic Book Tile

Picture this: you and your favorite author sharing display space at your local library! Have you always fantasized about seeing your name on the spine of a beautiful hardback book? The Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Foundation is going to give you that opportunity.

You can see your name in print by purchasing a Limited Edition ceramic book tile that will be permanently displayed in a commemorative bookcase in your choice of branch libraries. Branches with commemorative bookcases include College Avenue, Decatur, East 38th Street, Franklin Road, Glendale, Haughville, Irvington, and Pike.

Ceramic Book Tiles

The purchase of a Limited Edition ceramic book tile offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to the Library. It is also an excellent way to honor a friend or relative. Imagine a child's pride (and smile) when seeing his or her name on display in the library.

As a resident of Marion County, you have access to one of the finest library systems in the country. Perhaps you visited the Library to participate in a children's story hour, gather information for an academic research project, prepare for a job interview, research a personal interest, or spend an afternoon with a good book. With 5 million visits annually, demand for Library services is high. Through its myriad programs and services, the Library helps thousands of Indianapolis residents grow as life-long learners each year.

Your tax-deductible ceramic book tile contribution will help the Library sustain the fine tradition of service you and other Indianapolis residents have come to expect. For $2,500, you would receive a three-inch book tile. For $1,000, you would receive a two-inch tile. For $500, you would receive a one-inch tile.
