Become a Friend of the Library

riends of the Library is a contribution to the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Foundation. As a Friend of the Library, you will receive a card good for the calendar year. With your card, you will be entitled to benefits such as:

  • Early access to the Library's Book Sales for Friends Nights
  • Preferred seating for two at the annual Marian McFadden Memorial Lecture. Past speakers have included Eric Carle, Patricia Cornwell, John Irving and many more.
  • Discounts on Library specialty items such as tote bags, note cards, and apparel
  • The pleasure of helping others benefit from popular Library programs

Your gift will enable the Library Foundation to help our Library maintain its margin of excellence. The Library Foundation sponsors numerous programs throughout the year which benefit the community. These include children's reading programs, lecture series, special projects, programs in the branch libraries, and more.
